Are you patient? In this world of instant everything from fast food to the internet we expect everything to be fast and we do not like to wait. When things or people don't perform as fast as we think they should we become irritated and impatient with them. Forgetting we all work at varying levels and speeds.
Do you do this with your partner? Do you become upset when they don't say or do something when you want them to? Maybe they need some help and are afraid to ask for it?
Are you being patient with them? Are you remaining calm and understanding? Or do you become short-tempered and curt with them?
One hallmark of true love is that it is patient. While we are not perfect we can practice treating our partners with patience. It will go far in making your relationship one that will stand the test of time.
